DIRECTIONS BY CAR

Leave the motorway (M6) at Junction 36. Continue on the A590 following the signs to Barrow in Furness. On the outskirts of Dalton-in-Furness follow the signs to Barrow on the new by-pass. At the second island turn left following the signs for ‘Furness General Hospital’ Continue until the mini island, turn right onto Abbey Road, the Glen Garth Hotel and Restaurant is situated on the right hand side, on the corner of the second major road junction (Dane Avenue).

DIRECTIONS BY TRAIN

Take road out of train station car park. Turn left onto Holker Street – a traffic light will be immediately in front. Turn left at the traffic lights onto Abbey Road. Keep going up Abbey Road approximately 1 mile through 3 sets of traffic lights.

Glen Garth is on the corner of the next turning on left approx 300 metres after last set of lights. (Dane Avenue). The last set of lights has the strawberry pub on the right hand corner and a shell garage on the left hand corner.
